Welcome to the Particle & Energy Technology Group in the School of Energy and Power Engineering at Huazhong University of Science and Technology. Our group focuses on the study of particulate flows in relation to energy and the environment. Our research encompasses a wide range of topics, including particle-laden turbulent flows, particle formation in reacting flows, and particle-based solar thermal and energy storage technologies. Through a combination of computational simulations, experimental investigations, and mathematical modeling, we aim to characterize the macroscopic behavior of particulate flows and gain insights into their underlying particle-scale dynamics.
