About us

Welcome to the Particle & Energy Technology Group in the School of Energy and Power Engineering at Huazhong University of Science and Technology. We study particulate flows with relevance to the energy and environment, ranging from particle-laden turbulent flow, particle formation in reacting flows to particle-based solar thermal technologies. Our research combines computations, experiments, and mathematical modeling, aims to characterize the macroscopic behavior, understand its origin from the particle-scale dynamics.
